They Mostly come at night (DWE2M12) is the newly-updated secret level of the second episode of the add-on Death Wish, known as episode 8. It can be accessible by acessing a hidden Moon Key in DWE2M3: Mothership after activating the self-destruct sequences. It is set in an outer-regions like area which has the player outside the Earth.

"Hit the switch to open the shuttle and grab all the ammo in the surrounding area. Go through the big gateway and you'll see a large building. If you need extra ammo or Body Armor you can go into the bar on the right side of the building (you can visit this later in the mission). To enter the main building, use the keypad on the right of the entrance doors. Inside you'll see a red-lit area to the right where you can unlock the door to the outside. The room with the window overlooking this area has a Cultist with a Shotgun and Basic Armor. Straight ahead of the entrance is a blue hallway with ceiling vents overhead. If you get close enough, one of the them will break, releasing Choking Hands. At the end of the hallway is a Skull Door you can't enter yet. Go right instead and you'll find a wrecked locker room and an outdoor area. Search the outdoor area to find the Skull Key (near a bright blue light by the Bar). You can open the gate near the key to quickly access the previous outdoor section. Return to the Skull Door and head inside.

You'll see a red laser and some sentry guns. Crossing the laser sets them off. Look below the laser emitter on the left and you'll see a metal grate covering a vent. Duck into the vent to avoid the gunfire and enter the ruined office. Unlock the door into the hallway and enter it. Go past the sentry guns to Operations. In Operations, you'll see a weapon cache to the right and a room with the Fire Door on the left. Grab the weapons (and some Shotgun shells in the vent behind the ammo box) before going through the next door labeled Medlab.

The Medlab hallway has 2 sets of sentry guns, but these are manually activated. Through the left door is the supply room with some Flares and to the right is the Medlab. In the window room you will find the door can't be opened up again. When you try, Choking Hands will pop out of some vents, which reveals the location of the Fire Key. Use it on the sentry gun controller in the room to break the glass and head back to the Fire Door in the blue Operations area. Enter the room beyond the Fire Door and hop into a large pipe with a hole. Move through the pipe to an outdoor area and get the Dagger Key. Return to the Medlab hallway, fighting the new monster hordes that appear. At the end of the hall you'll need to open the Dagger Door labeled Dock. On the Dock, you'll see 2 elevators labeled A and B and a transport ship. Take Elevator B down to the heat exchange tunnels.

Exit the elevator. Look down the tunnels and you'll see a Hell Hound coming for you. Take the first right to get ammo in a room with Choking Hand-filled eggs. Open the doorway in the main tunnel and go right to another egg room, then left to the big, blue egg room. Grab the Spider Key, run back to Elevator B quickly (this is not as forgiving as the Mothership mission), and return to the dock. Go to the transport ship entrance. When you get close, Elevator A will arrive with some enemies before you can enter. Inside the ship, move straight ahead until you reach the exit switch. "--Bloatoid's Guide

  • In the hallway where you see some Hands emerged on the celling, look left and use an explosive on the floor, then follow the passage into an exposed vent. Reward: Life Seed
  • Inside the ruined office passing a laser and some sentry guns, crouch behind the desk and press a keypad to the right of the chair to lowers a bookshelf. Then enter the newly-opened pathway Reward: Body Armour
  • After entering the Medlab, look left toward a number of computer stations. Use the one on the far right to lower the closet right behind. Reward: Gasoline Can, Trapped Soul, Tesla Charge
  • Inside the supply room, press on the white storage unit to the right to lower it. Reward: Tesla Cannon
  • At the heat exchange ground floor, jump over the wall into the blue area, there is a niche coloured brown just to the right. Reward: Life Leech
  • After entering the room with Choking Hand-filled eggs, destroy the hand then look left. There's a vent behind a metal grate. Reward: Box of Shells, Few Bullets x2
