Episode: The Cult[edit]

The premise involves Caleb's efforts to clean the remnants of the influence of cultists in our world. He crosses a rickety bridge over a deep chasm surrounding a fortress, clearing the grounds before taking the a battle inside across the upper and lower levels and an intense firefight in a dining hall. Caleb tumbles down a pit to an underground lair of a Mother Spider, and reclaims a key among stone pillars and phantasms, riding back up an elevator and unlocking the way out (c1tint: Tample entrance).

Caleb departs down the hillside, reaching a rocky coastline. He spots a key he needs in a cave, but it is sealed off. Diving into the waters, he finds a tunnel guarded by Gill Beasts that emerges on the other side. The key unlocks a gateway leading to further uneven terrain, dotted with occult obelisks unsealing both the the exit and untold legions of zombies (c2dshore: Dark Shore).

The pathway leads into a devastated village, with much reduced to nought but ruins. Caleb clears out a pub to get the spider key, and the dagger key is available after a short swim, and allows back onto the shore from a door that was locked from the other side. He enters one of the more complete structures through a cellar hatch, heading upstairs, and the eye key can be found in a bedroom. At the top of the building Caleb acquires the crescent key. A clutch of Hell Hounds appear at the town square, and the dagger key gate unleashes batches of gargoyles, further joined upon pressing two skull switches, but also unveils the ending seal (c3vilge: Corrupted village).

Caleb enters the foyer of a mansion, with locked doors on his left and right, but the skull key can be found in a closet. This releases access onto the front garden, accessible in two parts, in one is a butcher hiding the eye key. Leaping down a well, or into various pools, allows access to other reaches, including a dungeon, spider pit, and a chrysalid pod vivarium. Another closet hides a zombie keeping the fire key, which unlocks the outer gate after a final conflict with cultists and gargoyles (c4manor: Manor).

Note: a bug causing enemies, including zombies holding keys, to become invincible has been reported.

A long elevator brings Caleb atop a snow-capped mountain peak, and a winding array of passages, terraces, pavilions, and hedge gardens, culminating in a final battle with a Stone Gargoyle (c5grdns: Shady gardens).
