C3L10: Cabal CO Rooftops is the thirtieth level in the game Blood II: The Chosen, and the tenth level of the third chapter (map name: 23_rooftop). Caleb fights Gideon on the rooftops, and follows him into the world where all the mysterious creatures are coming from (known noncanonically as Reality Beta).

There's that clay pigeon Gideon! That fairly rolls off the tongue: Pigeon Gideon. WooooHooooo! Skeet shooting is one of your favorite games. This is going to be a blast! For him. Pull! Bang! Pull! Bang! Pull! No more running Gideon. Your flight is over, schmuck. You're outta luck.

Caleb proceeds through the rift

Caleb: The rest of your life is going to be measured in seconds chump!

The fight with Gideon starts right away. Gideon teleports sporadically, making him difficult to hit, but the numerous power-ups and ammo caches aid Caleb so that he does enough damage to bloody his white robes. A portal appears in the center of the roof and Gideon flies into it.

GIDEON: It's not over. You will never truly defeat me.
CALEB: Then I'll just have to keep on kicking your ass.

Caleb starts walking into the portal, while Ophelia watches (somehow having escaped and gained a Tesla Cannon).

OPHELIA: He wants you to follow him, you dumb bastard.
CALEB: Never said I was smart.

• The Blood II rez file contains some dialogue that was cut from the final game:
  • ISHMAEL: You're not going after him, are you? (this is said after Caleb says "Then I'll just have to keep on kicking your ass.")
  • ISHAMEL: I'm speculating that it's something very... unpleasant.
    OPHELIA: Well, what are we waiting for?(this dialogue comes after Caleb enters the portal)
  • GIDEON: And so the Chosen proceeded into the rift, to right all the wrongs despite the futility of their actions. They'd become humanity's most unlikely of heroes destined to destroy us all if they succeeded. But I was not through with them yet. (this is the supposed ending narration for chapter 3)
• This level is the setting of the fan fiction Rooftop Rumble.
• A bit of the fan film Duke versus Caleb takes place on these rooftops.
